Love Story:

"Jonathan and Patty met briefly in college during their senior year - they had a lot the same friends, but their paths never really crossed again.  Fast forward to their first year of adulthood in New York City and Jonathan ended up being roommates with a friend of Patty's.  She thought he had the most innocent "boy-next-door" charm and they ended up spending the next seven years exploring the concrete jungle, trying new hobbies and traveling together.

It wasn't until Patty convinced Jonathan to visit Petco for the 100th time, where they finally adopted a dog and named her Tegan.  Jonathan knew that he never wanted to lose his little family and began planning the long awaited engagement proposal. 

In March of 2015, Jonathan and Patty organized a trip to Puerto Rico.  Jonathan had planned to propose during a hike through the El Yunque rain forest, but it just did not feel right with the number of possible spectators.  They flew to Culebra island the next day where Jonathan proposed on a deserted beach as the Caribbean sun was setting and she said "finally!" and "Yesssss!!!"

Following the proposal, Jonathan and Patty made the decision to move from NYC to San Francisco to continue their adventures as life partners.  While their wedding will be held back home on the east coast, they knew they wanted to capture the beauty of the bay area and wine country.  They met Katie Rummel of Kreate Photography, who was born and raised in Sonoma County and now resides in the Bay Area, and spent a magical afternoon at Vine Hill House capturing that California dream."
